Sian Gabbidon
Meet Sian Gabbidon – trailblazing entrepreneur, fashion business founder and motivational speaker.
Born and raised in Leeds with proud Jamaican roots, Sian’s story is one of drive, creativity and fearless ambition. From a young age she gravitated towards art, textiles and fashion, which led her to the University of Huddersfield where she graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Fashion Design with Marketing & Production.
While working full‑time after university, Sian launched her loungewear brand Sian Marie from her bedroom. What started as a side hustle grew into a global brand stocked by celebrities including Molly‑Mae Hague and Michelle Keegan, with seven‑figure retail partnerships along the way.
In 2018, Sian stepped into the spotlight on BBC’s The Apprentice, where her sharp business mind and creative edge saw her become the first Black female winner of the show – securing investment from Lord Sugar and cementing her status as one of the UK’s most exciting young entrepreneurs.
Never one to stand still, Sian went on to co‑found Twenty Twenty Digital, one of the UK’s fastest‑growing e‑commerce agencies. Working with household names like Puma and PrettyLittleThing, she helps brands scale with a profit‑first approach and cutting‑edge digital strategy.
Beyond the boardroom, Sian is a natural presenter and motivational speaker, appearing on Good Morning Britain, BBC Bitesize and countless stages and panels, as well as collaborating with brands like Ford UK, Starling Bank and Square. She’s also been featured in Hello!, OK!, Closer and more, all while championing fitness, wellbeing and clean living as key parts of her success.
Sian is proud to use her platform to inspire and empower entrepreneurs, proving that with focus, grit and creativity, you can turn a bedroom dream into a global success story.
